Three Ethiopians arrested for being in the country illegally

Three Ethiopians have been arrested on Monday night for being in the country illegally.

The Ethiopians are said to be aged 20 years, 32 years and 35 years and were arrested in Emali Township.

The trio are said to have been hiding in a trailer cabin heading to Mombasa from Nairobi and they were on their way to South Africa.

“Three #Ethiopian nationals aged 20yrs, 32yrs & 35yrs were yesterday night arrested by officers within Emali Township for being in the country illegally. The trio were found hiding in a Trailer Cabin headed to Mombasa from Nairobi & were enroute to South Africa. All charged Today.”

Yesterday 22 ladies aged between 21 years and 40 years and a man were rescued from a house in  Drumville Estate.

Investigations revealed that the ladies and the man were being held awaiting to be trafficked to Saudi Arabia.

Further investigations into the incident is ongoing.

“22 Kenyan Ladies aged between 21yrs & 40yrs, and a 38yr-old Male were rescued today by @DCI_Kenya Detectives from a house in Drumville Estate. Preliminary investigations reveal that the victims were being held awaiting Trafficking to #SaudiArabia. Further investigations are ongoing.”
