800m champion Caster Semenya has joined South African football team JVW for an unknown period of time.
Sharing her new club jersey, Semenya said how happy she was joing the women team.
The two time 800m champion made the decision following recent court battles with IAAF who restricted her on pitch competition over testosterone levels.
28-year-old Caster Semenya appealed the decision that meant she had to use testosterone medication s or change to another competition.
Since then Semenya has been fighting to have her way through the tracks until July when she made it public she won’t be defending her title.
JVW on the other side will not have the champion play for them until 2020 when the transfer window in South African will be open.
At the moment the club founder has praised her move and felt proud of how she chose them among the other teams in the country.
