A V8 vehicle is reported to have burst into flames at Shelly Beach Mombasa county on Wednesday.
A video shared online show how residents helplessly watched as the vehicle went up into flames at the sea shore.
It is reported that the owners of the vehicle were advised against driving the vehicle at the beach but they did the complete opposite.

Tides at Shelly Beach started rising and when they tried to turn the engine on, it burst into flames leaving the shell out of the V8.
“They were cautioned not to drive to the ocean during low tides . Later they got stuck on sand and the tides were raising. As the driver tried to accelerate, the engine busted into flames and that’s how a V8 went to ashes.” Said MCGW.
The news come at a time when fishermen in Lamu netted the biggest fish weighing 500 kilogrammes.
The fishermen came together to drag the fish out of the water and take it to the shores before splitting it.
“Fishermen in Lamu on Wednesday netted their biggest catch yet, a gigantic fish weigh in excess of 500 kilograms. The fish took the effort of more than three men to drag it to the shore.” Said MCGW.
