Nigeria forward Samuel Kalu was taken to hospital on Friday ahead of there Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON match following severe dehydration.
Samuel Kalu who plays for Ligue 1 side Bordeaux collapsed during a training exercise ahead of their AFCON match forcing delays.
Temperatures in Egypt are expected to go as high as 40C as the Confederation of African Football (Caf) plans to have two breaks per match in accordance with Fifa rules.
Kalu is said to have collapsed when taking a corner during a training session causing a 25-minute break.
