Agnes Odhiambo, Ex-C.O.B appointed NTSA chairperson

Former Controller of Budget boss Agnes Odhiambo has been appointed as the new Chairperson of the National Transport and Safety Authority, NTSA.

The appointment of Agnes Odhiambo was done by President Uhuru Kenyatta who also made another change in a state agency.

Prof. Mabel Imbuga the former Vice Chancellor of Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology was appointed as the new chairperson of NACADA.

Prof. Bulitia Godrick was appointed to the board of the National Construction Authority by Transport CS James Macharia.

According to the gazette notice, Agnes will serve for a period of three years as revealed by President Uhuru Kenyatta.

In November 2019, Margaret Nyakang’o replaced Agnes from her previous post as the Controller of Budget for a a period of three years.

Odhiambo served in the position for a period 8 years since she was appointed back in 2011.
