Ahmed Musa scores twice to give Nigeria a win

Nigeria scored two goals in there group stage match against Iceland to give themselves there first win in the World Cup.

Ahmed Musa scored the two goals in the second half making the Super Eagles go above Argentina in the Group stage.

The Super Eagles will secure a spot in the knockout stages if they beat Argentina in there next match.

A draw will also be in favour of them but there fate will depend on the outcome of Iceland vs Croatia match.

Ahmed Musa came in today’s line up of the Super Eagles as a replacement of Alex Iwobi but confirmed his position in the team when he scored the two goals.

Iceland came close to scoring in the 82nd when a penalty was awarded but Gylfi Sigurdsson kicked it high denying Iceland a goal in the game. 

Today’s game made Ahmed Musa become the first Nigeria Super Eagles player to score on multiple World Cups.
