Aisha Jumwa MP has on Wednesday been arraigned before a Mombasa Court following a gun drama on Tuesday.
Police raided Aisha Jumwa house before she was whiskered away in a police land rover to Kilindini Police station.

In a social media message, Aisha Jumwa MP confirmed the arrest saying she was being taken to an unknown destination.
Chaos erupted on Tuesday when the Malindi MP arrived in a meeting with bodyguards before a gunshot was heard.

It was during the fracas that one Gumbao Jola was shot dead by an unknown man claimed to be from Aisha Jumwa’s side.
Gumbao Jola was an uncle to Reuben Katana who is vying for the Ganda ward position in this coming byelection set for October 17th.

It is not clear why the Malindi MP went to the meeting that was organized by ODM to plan for the upcoming byelection.
