A Lamu bound bus is reported to have been attacked by Al-Shabaab militants as three people are confirmed dead.
The bus that was coming from Mombasa heading to Lamu was attacked at the Nyongoro area on Thursday leaving three other people sustaining injuries.
The Al-Shabaab attack has left the Lamu-Garsen road closed as police officers manned the area.

This is not the first time the terrorist group has been on the spot as 79 people were reported dead in Mogadishu following a car bomb.
Ten people including police officers died less than two weeks ago when a bus run over an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) in Kitulo.
