Ms. Margaret Kilelu an Amref-Kenya nurse who was reported missing on Thursday has been found at Coast General Intensive Care Unit in Mombasa.
According to the family a Good Samaritan found Margaret at a petrol station in Mombasa before reporting the matter at Kadzandani Police Station.
The Amref-Kenya nurse was last hospitalized at Kenyatta National Hospital with a depression related illness.
It’s however not clear as to how she reached Mombasa from Nairobi where she is said to be residing at Tena Estate.
Police officers handling the issue after the report are said to have brought the Amref-Kenya nurse to Coast General Hospital for treatment.
Several tests have been conducted on Margaret including a scan as she was found unconscious but the results were okay.
A preliminary test is said to have shown a blood infection which is yet to be confirmed after further tests have been conducted.
Once the results are out then it will be easy to know whether she was poisoned or drunk as she was unable to speak at the time she was found.
Her family are said to have been alerted of her whereabouts on Sunday.
