Newly signed Kiss 100 radio host Andrew Kibe has been slapped with a Ksh 2.5 million lawsuit.
In news seen by news Moto from Citizen TV, Andrew Kibe is accused of failing to pay Ksh 215,000 loan.
Appearing before a Nairobi Court on Wednesday, Kibe is said to have been lent the said amount by a colleague seven years ago.
The amount has since attracted interest for failing to pay on time forcing the colleague to report the issue.
The two are said to have agreed payment will be made in 18 days failure in which will attract Ksh 55,000 in interest.
They further agreed on interest at the rate of 7.5 percent after four days after the stipulated period.
The judge preceding the matter directed that Kibe should pay the amount and the total interest as per the agreement.
He was also directed to pay all legal fees as determined by the court.

This is the second case against the radio host after he was challenged by his former employee following his resignation.

The former NRG presenter alongside co-host Kamene Goro was sued by NRG radio over a non-compete clause in their contracts.
The clause hindered the two from joining any competitor for a period of three months after resignation.
Radio Africa through their lawyers enjoined the suit to their defense
The court, however, agreed to have them enjoined as an interested party.
In the defense, Radio Africa said they have spent a lot in refurbishing the studio and have their new radio hosts trained.
Furthermore, Kiss claimed to ave already included them in their payroll in addition to paying their publicity fees.
Kamene Goro aired her frustration on social media asking how she will make ends meet if she is not allowed to work.
