Anita Nderu opens up about her battle with depression

The Trend panelist and radio presenter Anita Nderu has on Thursday come out to speak on her battle with depression.

She first says of how happy she now is and that finally she can now have some peace of mind something that she cannot stop smiling about.

“So much has happened in the span of one week. After today I am happy to announce I will finally have peace of mind. I am so excited I literally cannot stop smiling. The people close to me know what a struggle and mental torture last year was. I.” Said Anita.

It is at this point that Anita Nderu reveals that she has been battling depression for five months and it was not pretty. Her friends answered tons of her phone calls as she cried until the end of last year when she recovered and things have been good ever since.

On Thursday morning, she however thanked God for answering her prayers she is moving into her own house after two years of living rent free.

Anita Nderu is however reaching out to companies she can work with and so she says things are good.

Finally Anita Nderu speaks of her birthday plans that are already in place and it’s going to be a “very picky pajama party” as she describes it.

Some of Anita Nderu’s fans have been baffled by the new revelation saying that no one could tell if she was battling depression.

“Who would have thought that’s what you went through? You are an amazing lady always know that. We admire your courage for speaking about your struggle it encourages us that bad situation/times don’t always last. May this year bring you more happiness.”
