Anne Kiguta sends Murkomen a special invitation

K24 presenter Anne Kiguta has on Sunday offered an open invitation to Senator Kipchumba Murkomen following his canceled interview at KTN.

Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen who was scheduled to appear on KTN’s show dubbed Check Point saw his interview canceled.

“Pole sen. I extend an open invitation to you on #PUNCHLINE @K24Tv. You are welcome to step into the ring ” Said Anne Kiguta

Taking on Twitter, Murkomen blamed his fellow Senator Gideon Moi for canceling his show as he apologized to his followers.

“I am sorry to let you know that my colleague (link: http://Sen.Moi) Sen.Moi has canceled my appearance at KTN #CheckPoint Tonight. I have always supported media freedom in Kenya. Unfortunately, the struggle between media ownership &editorial independence is real.” Said Murkomen.

He continues by saying how has always supported media freedom in Kenya but unfortunately he has seen a struggle between media ownership and editorial independence.
