Former Chelsea manager Antonio Conte is set to be confirmed as the new manager of Tottenham Hotspurs.
Discussion between the Spurs board and Conte’s camp is currently ongoing with reports indicating that the deal is too sweet for Conte to decline.
“Antonio Conte is ready to accept Tottenham’s proposal. Talks underway and understood to be ‘at final stages’ – salary and long term contract discussed but he seems convinced to say ‘yes’
- Nuno Espirito Santo sacked by Tottenham board

- Antonio Conte snubs Tottenham, not convinced with project
Negotiations to continue in the next few hours in order to complete the agreement.” Said Fabrizio Romano
It is also understood that the former Juventus manager is expected to fly to London in the next few hours to complete last-minute details before he is confirmed as the new manager.
“Antonio Conte is expected in London soon to complete talks on final details with Tottenham. Antonio is more than tempted to accept the Tottenham job. He already worked with Paratici at Juventus years ago.” Said Fabrizio Romano
The news comes barely an hour after the board at Tottenham sacked former Wolves manager Nuno Espirito Santo following poor results with the last one being home defeat against Manchester United.
Conte was in June their main target before they disagreed on a number of issues including control on players transfers among others.
