Arsenal have been handed a major boost in their transfer window after they reached full agreement with Manchester City over the transfer of Gabriel Jesus.

Even though the signing was likely to go through, the Gunners had to beat the price tag set by fellow Premier League giants who demanded payments over £50m if they were to land their target.

Given the close relationship between Arsenal technical director Edu and the Brazilian camp, pundits predicted a much easier communication in order to convince the 25-year-old to Emirates camp.

Manchester City recently brought in Earling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund who will definitely the Brazilian who had already dropped out of favour under Pep Guardiola.

The Gunners are now pushing for a meeting to settle personal terms with Gabriel Jesus before they come to a full agreement and confirmation as a new signing.

So far, Arsenal has completed the signing of Marquinhos from Sao Paulo and Pablo Vieira from FC Porto in Portugal. Marquinhos has been termed as a player of the future given that he is 19-years of age.
