“Arsenal and Manchester City have now reached verbal agreement in principle for Oleksandr Zinchenko, fee around £30m. Personal terms are still discussed. Salary and length of contract, in negotiation – key step to complete the agreement.” Said Fabrizio.

The Ukraine international who doubles as a midfielder and Left back is expected to solve Mikel Arteta’s problems as he ventures into the market to solve both positions ahead of next season.

Pep Guardiola has been a fan of the Zinchenko and even revealed how good of a player to play under pressure thus his inclusion in the Champions League fixtures at Manchester City.

Zinchenko will now link up with Gabriel Jesus who moved to Arsenal following the arrival of Erling Haaland at the Etihad on a long-term contract. Both players have the advantage of working under Mikel Arteta at Manchester City.
