Arsenal beat West Ham to record second successive win

Arsenal recorded their second successive win of the season beating West Ham at the Emirates thanks to a late goal by Eddie Nketiah.

It was the second win for Mikel Arteta who has kicked off the season with flying success having acquired the services of Willian from Chelsea and Gabriel from Lille.

Dani Ceballos andEddie Nketiah who were caught on camera fighting came together to hand Arsenal a deserving victory.

It was Saka who started off the race finding Ceballos who in turn set it up for Eddie who calmly converted it leaving West Ham players appealing for an offside.

The host were a goal up in the 25th minute when Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang provided the assist which was headed into the net by Lacazette.

Mikel Arteta’s side dominated the match from the start but West Ham slowly became dangerous before sliding one past Bernd Leno through Michail Antonio.

The visitors continued to attack and even missed a couple of clear chances which were cleared by the Arsenal keeper.

In other matches of the day, Everton also recorded their second win beating West Brom 5-2 as James Rodriguez recorded his first goal since joining Carlo Anchelotiin the ongoing transfers.

Leeds recorded their first ever win beating Fulham and overturning a similar 4-3 defeat at Liverpool last week.
