Arsenal is set to complete the signing of Brazilian and Sao Paulo winger Marquinhos with the fee estimated to be around €3.5 million.
“Arsenal are now preparing paperwork to complete Marquinhos deal with São Paulo. Brazilian club will receive around €3/3.5m total fees with immediate payment, once final details will be sorted,” said Fabrizio Romano
The 18-year-old highly talented player is expected to strengthen the current squad ahead of the next season. If the deal goes through, he will be part of the team that will fly to the US for pre-season.

Sources close to the club revealed that there are no plans to include him in the first team but highly considered for the future.
The club took advantage of some loopholes in his current contract that expires in 2024 to sign him. Sao Paulo is however worried that the player could leave for free without pocketing anything in return.
The Gunners are also closing in on signing Manchester City forward Gabriel Jesus who declined to extend his stay at Etihad. Arsenal has already held discussions with his agent who liked Mikel Arteta’s project.
“Arsenal are preparing the opening bid for Gabriel Jesus. Manchester City wants around €50-60m to sell Gabriel this summer, even if his current deal won’t be extended.
Arsenal already discussed this with Gabriel’s agent. “We like the project”, agent Pettinati told me.” Said Fabrizio Romano
