Arsenal condemn social media abuse of Nicolas Pepe

Arsenal has come out strongly condemning social media abuse of Nicolas Pepe following their 0-0 draw with Leeds on Sunday.

In a statement issued by the club, the Gunners termed the vile abuse as unacceptable and that they they will deal with the culprits.

The same statement was issued by Leeds who condemned the same vice on Ezgjan Alioski following a controversial encounter that saw the Arsenal winger receiving a straight red card.

Pepe for the first time started in the clash alongside Aubameyang and William to end a request by the former Lille man to have a regular start.

His impact was key in the attack which failed to convert opportunities into goals extending Mikel Arteta’s lack of goals in the league.

Speaking after the fixture, Arteta termed Nicolas Pepe’s actions as unacceptable something that he also disccued with him.
