Arsenal duo Mesut Ozil and Sead Kolasinac have escaped a carjacking attempting a shown in a video doing rounds on social media.
Confirming the incident was Arsenal who said that they have confirmed that the two players are okay and escaped uninjured.
In the video, Kolasinac is seen fighting off the two armed carjackers who visibly held knives at them.
His efforts have since been praised by online users with others called the club to hand him the captaincy role immediately.
Some were also concerned with his well-being noting that he was hit by a knife at the end of the attack.

No arrests have done so far with the pair making it out of the place to a nearby restaurant where they reported the incident to police officers.
In the past, then English Premier League striker Andy Carol was attacked at the same place in 2016.
