Arsenal are looking complete the sell of German Mesut Ozil and Greece International Sokratis with the two seeking more game time.
Both Fenerbahce and Genoa have been on the race to sign the defender whose target is Genoa given that they meet the financial terms given by Arsenal.
It will be the second spell for Sokratis at Genoa with the 32-year-old defender playing for the Spaniards between 2008-2010.

Mikel Arteta has sideline both Mesut Ozil and Sokratis in the Premier League and Europa League despite their heavy involvement in previous success in previous seasons.
The Gunners signed the defender from Borussia Dortmund in 2018 for 17 million Euros and has so far made 69 appearance for them.
Fenerbahce are also keen to sign former Real Madrid playmaker whose absence is being felt at the Emirates given the sloppy start of the season.
In his message, the German attributed his woes to lack of loyalty given his dedication to bring success for Mikel Arteta.
The proceeds from the transfer will enable Arsenal complete a move for a creative midfielder to ignite goal scoring opportunities.
