Alexander Lacazette, Gabriel and Aubameyang were on target for the Gunners who were exceptional throughout the match.
In what was a test of Mikel Arteta’s first team selection, the evening squad was amazing especially defensively which has been the weakness for many seasons.

Former Chelsea forward Willian won the ball in the 8th minute which was poorly cleared by Rodak before Lacazette tapped it in.
The Brazilian provided an assist in the 49th minute setting up Gabriel his first ever goal following his transfer from Lille.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang superbly converted from the wing as he curled the ball into the far end of the post in the 57th minute.
Fulham came into the match looking sharp and even created a few chances in the first minutes of the game.
Things changed for them immediately after the first goal as Arsenal took control of the midfield and defense driving the ball up high.
Willian and Gabriel impact for Arsenal
Speaking after the match, Arteta praised Willian for his impact on his first match he was basically the reason behind the win.
He revealed how positive he was that the Brazilian will impact immediately given his experience for the league.
Gabriel on the other hand was confirmed last minute after other centre backs were ruled out because of injury.
Despite training with the first team for a few weeks, he was excellent as described by Arteta.
