Arsenal are ready to intensify talks with Leeds United for the transfer of forward Raphinha after securing the signature of his compatriot Gabriel Jesus from Manchester City.
According to reports in Brazil the Gunners will try the Lancashire club with a new improved bid after their first bid for the player was reportedly turned down last week.
Raphinha who is being monitored by several top clubs including FC Barcelona, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur is said to be open to a move to Arsenal despite already agreeing personal terms with Spanish giants FC Barcelona who are unable to match his price tag due to financial struggles.

Leeds United value the Brazilian winger at £60 million pounds and Arsenal are said to be in a great position to secure his signature ahead of the other clubs.
Incase his transfer is sealed, the former Sporting CP man will become Mikel Arteta’s fourth signing of the summer after Marquinhos, Fabio Vieira and Matt Turner.
