Arsenal came from a goal down to beat Chelsea and lift the FA Cup thanks to two goals from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

The 14 times FA Cup winners found themselves a goal down when Pulisic took advantage of a sloppy Arsenal defense to chip the ball past Martinez.

Aubameyang converted an equalizer when he was brought down in a controversial decision which stood and the Gabon striker comfortably netted it.

He was on target again when a Pepe squared an assist which he calmly chipped it and beating the Chelsea defense.

Frank Lampard found himself a man down when Kovacic was shown his second yellow card of the match leaving them vulnerable.

Azpilicueta and Pulisic suffered thigh injuries before they were both substituted forcing their coach to utilize his options early in the final.

It is the third win Arsenal have pulled against Chelsea having beaten the Blues back in 2002, 2017 and 2020.

As for Mikel Arteta, he is sending a serious message to his fellow managers coming as a rookie and clinching a trophy in his first season in charge.

The victory has secured the Gunners to an automatic European League group stage qualification come next season.

The real challenge for Arteta will be to strengthen his defense and convince the board to agree to Aubameyang demands to stay at the club.

As for Chelsea, their tittle chase is not over as they will travel to Munich for the round of 16 of the Champions League.
