Asia Bibi leaves Pakistan for Canada

Asia Bibi a Christian Pakistan woman who has been on death row since 2010 has flown out of the country.

Asia Bibi was accused of blasphemy after insulting Prophet Muhammad during a quarrel with her neighbors back in 2010.

Her case has caused a rift in the Pakistan government with the Supreme Court overturning her conviction last year.

Reports indicate that Asia Noreen well known as Asia Bibi has left for Canada following a long stay at a secret location as she waited to leave the country.

How she fell in trouble

A quarrel is said to have begun when she used a cup which was said to be unclean by the other women due to her faith.

Asia Bibi is said to have said offensive comments about Prophet Muhammad before she was beaten at her home.
