Form 3 student from Kisii High School has on Wednesday been charged with attempted murder.
The 17-year-old is reported to have stabbed two of his teachers who questioned him as to why he turned up late for the Tuesday morning preps.
Appearing before Kisii High Court, the student denied the charges levelled against him and was slapped with a Ksh 50,000 cash bail or an alternative Ksh 100,000 bond.

On the day of the attack, the 17-year-old is reported to have been summoned by one of the teachers who questioned his lateness.
He was then ordered to kneel down at the staff room before dashing out before returning with a knife which he used to attack the teacher.
A second teacher intervened only to be stabbed in the cheek and was taken in for treatment before he was discharged.
The first teacher remained admitted as he had been injured in the shoulder, abdomen and leg as confirmed by K24.
