It was during the examination that both the Arsenal striker and OGC Nice man were found with heart-related complications which the doctors could not risk playing them.
The news is a blow to Arsenal who are yet to enjoy his service after he fell out with coach Mikel Arteta who has sidelined him since then.
The 32-year-old has since been replaced with youngster Martinel who has been exceptional upfront catching the attention of Arsenal fans who are impressed by his performance.
