Aubameyang on target as Arsenal beat Manchester United

Arsenal fought hard to walk victorious against Manchester United at Old Trafford thanks to a solitary goal from striker Aubameyang.

The visitors stepped in confident of causing problems following a 3-0 win against Dundalk in the Europa League fixture over the week.

Mikel Arteta changed his squad paring Lacazette, Aubameyang, Saka and Willian upfront with all players tasked with splitting the Manchester United defense.

The host struggled to complete passes in the midfield thanks to Partey and Elneny who dominated the balls passing them across and through the wings.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer side came close a couple of times as Rashford was denied with his strike coming off the hands of Leno.

Egyptian Elneny was close to equalize for the opponents deep in the second half when his clearance came off the head of Leno before it bounced back from the goal post.

On form Bellerin was fouled by Paul Pogba in the 69th minute as the referee awarded a penalty which was beautifully taken by Aubameyang.

The win take Arsenal to 8th position with 12 points as Manchester United hold position 15 with 7 points from six games played.
