Aubameyang to Arsenal after Dortmund-Arsenal agree fee

Arsenal and Dortmund have agreed a record fee of 55.4M Pounds for striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Aubameyang has been offered a three and a half year contract with Arsenal as the Gunners are trying to boast there striking options.The Gabon international player’s future has been in doubt and subject of high interest from the Gunners.

Meanwhile Dortmund has been keen to sign Oliver Giroud as a replacement but the deal has failed since the Frenchman family want to stay in England.Likely replacement of Aubameyang is Chelsea forward Batshauyi who will be loaned to the German club.

Giroud has also been a key interest for Chelsea as they are trying to strike a deal with Edin Dzeko who plays for Roma.Arsenal will only allow Chelsea to sign Giroud if they meet his valuation of 35M Pounds.

Signig of Aubameyang will fire back Arsenal who sit on sixth position five points behind Liverpool and three points behind Tottenham.The 28 year old Gabon international has so far netted 13 goals for Dortmund this season with last season finishing the campaign as the top goal scorer.

Arsenal are currently warming up for there Tuesday clash with bottom placed Swansea at the stadium of Liberty.Gunners are expecting a win with only 14 matches remaining in the English Premier League.
