Australia orders self-isolation of all arrivals

Australia has order an immediate self-isolation of all arrivals int the country for the next 14 days.

Also imposed is the ban of cruise ships making their way in the country as a measure to control the spread of coronavirus.

Making the announcement was Australia Prime Minister Scott Morrison who was meeting the newly formed cabinet to fight coronavirus.

Scott Morison said the bans and controls will ensure the recent curves are done away in days to come.

At the moment the country has recorder three deaths and about 250 infections resulting from the virus.

They have also banned entry of travelers from highly infected countries including China, South Korea and Italy.

“Our highest priority remains the safety of Australians. Today, based on expert advice on coronavirus, we’re implementing travel restrictions for foreign nationals who are in or have been through Italy. This is consistent with those in place for China, Iran and Republic of Korea.”
