Bahati breaks silence after he was thrown out of Azimio rally

Singer and Mathare parliamentary seat aspirant Kevin Kioko alias Bahati has responded to a video of himself being kicked out of an Azimio rally in Nairobi.

In the short video, the singer turned politician could be seen speaking to the people of Mathare on top of a vehicle before he was quickly ordered to come down and leave the scene.

Taking on social media, Bahati once again blamed ODM Secretary General Edwin Sifuna for the treatment saying that he felt the love the people of Mathare accorded him at the rally.

“When Sifana and his Loosing Friend Saw the incoming Mathare MP – Bahati Kioko has arrived and the Crowd was Demanding to hear Me speak. They Decided to End the Meeting Pre- Maturely Against the Will of the People.” Said Bahati

This is not the first time the singer has blamed the ODM official for his woes after he became the first candidate to face the zoning effect ahead of the general elections.

The singer has been informed the alliance decision to support the ODM candidate in the constituency, a move that he rejected insisting that he leads in the polls and that he will still be in the ballot box.

“I would like the Public and the People of Mathare to Know that the polls were done and they All Know that Bahati is leading both on Polls and on Ground.

Let this be clear I Will not be intimidated, I have not Stepped Down, I will Not Step Down and on the 9th of August Mathare is Voting Out Stranger’s.” Said Bahati
