Bahati in court over Peter Blessing’s 2M fraud case

Gospel singer Kevin Kioko well known as Bahati was on Tuesday in court over a Ksh 2 million fraud case against Peter Blessing.

Also present at the Milimani Law courts to testify was Lawrence Munyao better known as Weezdom as both parties kicked off a lawsuit against Peter Blessing.

The pair noted how they signed the artist back in 2019 under EMB records and was set to benefit the label through his songs something that Blessings is alleged to have agreed but has since failed to honour.

Weezdom who doubles as EMB manager told the court how they spent over Ksh 2 million in expenses to carter for Peter Blessing’s needs before his breached their contract.

He continued by revealing how he learnt of his departure through media without informing them and in total breach of their agreement.

Blessing has been charged with fraud since he convinced the management of EMB records he could sing and benefit them equally.
