Bahati MP Kimani Ngunjiri has on Tuesday surrendered his gun to the DCI following an order of the same.
The order against Hon. Kimani Ngunjiri follows his remarks that DP William Ruto was allegedly denied access to his Mombasa residence.
His statement was noted by the police that it would cause unrest in Rift Valley thus his security detail was also withdrawn.

Speaking on Monday the Bahati legislator said his interrogation by the police was something that could be confirmed.
He asked the law enforces to question media houses who had also written the same story he was sharing.
Ngunjiri’s defense is that he was worried about the DP and had no intention to cause any unrest.
