Barcelona come from behind to beat Sevilla

Barcelona came from behind to seal a convincing 4-2 defeat against Sevilla on Saturday sending them to the top of the table.

A hat trick from Barcelona’s captain Lionel Messi did the magic for the Catalans proving Sevilla they are no show against them.

Sevilla took the lead in the first half through Jesus Navas before Gabriel Marcado double the lead with a clinical eight-yard finish.

Messi leveled things up for Barcelona in the second half with a curling short from the edge of the box before making it three being his 36th goal in 35 matches against Sevilla.

The Catalan goal machine set up an injury time ball for Luiz Suarez who made it four.

Saturdays hat-trick sent Messi to the top of the scorers list nine clear of team mate Suarez who lies second.

In all competition Messi has a total of 33 goals in 32 games and shows no signs of stopping any time soon.

In total Messi has 650 goals, 585 being for Barcelona and 65 for Argentina.
