Barcelona manager Ronald Koeman and Miralem Pjanic have been locked in a war of words lately even after the Bosnian was shipped from the club.
Pjanic who joined Besiktas on loan expressed how relieved he was to join a lesser team than staying under the care of Koeman terming the stay at Barcelona a waste of time.
In an interview with Tuttsport, the midfielder termed his relationship with Koeman a strange one that saw Lionel Messi question him if there was anything in between the two of them.

“Not even Messi, who often asked me if something had happened with him. I couldn’t stay at Barcelona with Koeman. I would have lost a year and I wanted to play,” said Pjanic.
The relationship between the two became worse last season with Koeman resting him without any clear reason and direction as to how he will help the club.
Juventus managed to approach Barcelona to make his comeback but the demands were unable to be reached by the Italian giants who backed off the deal altogether.
If things remain the same, the La Liga giants may be forced to make his transfer permanent to any other club that may be able to meet his valuation and demands from Camp Nou.
