Barcelona suffer shocking first leg defeat at Levante

Two goals from Erick Cabaco and Borja Mayoral were enough to give Levante a crucial first leg win against Barcelona.

Levante scored there first goal in the 4th minute before doubling the lead 14 minutes later thanks to a Boateng assistance.

Phillipe Coutinho pulled one back in the 85th minute from the penalty spot but Barcelona could not salvage a point from the first leg.

Barcelona’s loss comes barely three weeks after thrashing Levante 5-0 in La Liga that saw Lionel Messi score a hat trick.
