Barcelona has confirmed that their first team player Samuel Umtiti has tested positive for COVID-19.
In a statement issued by the La Liga giants, they said that the French defender was found to have tested positive following a PCR test conducted on all club players.

They continued by saying that he was asymptomatic and was isolating at home and in good health.
Barcelona has initiated contact tracing of all people who interacted with the player as well as informing the relevant sporting health activities.
The news comes at a time when Barcelona are facing Bayern Munich in the Champions League.
