Baringo Deputy Governor Charles Kipng’ok has on Saturday been laid to rest at his home in Solian, Eldama Ravine constituency.
Attending the burial was Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua who wished the family peace and strength to bear the loss.
“Represented President William Ruto during the funeral of the late Charles Kipng’ok Deputy Governor Baringo county at his home in Solian, Eldama Ravine constituency. May the almighty God give his family peace and strength to bear the loss.” Said Gachagua

Hon. Kipng’ok passed away a week ago after collapsing at Jomo Kenyatta Airport (JKIA) as he was about to depart to Mombasa where he was to attend the Council of Governor’s meeting.
Confirming his death was Kenya Airways who said that a passenger heading to Mombasa developed breathing complication before he was passed away as he was being attended to by their medical personnel.
“Kenya Airways PLC(KQ) regrets to announce that a passenger developed breathing difficulties this evening while boarding KQ612 that was scheduled to depart for Mombasa at 1900hrs.
The passenger was confirmed dead by medical personnel at JKIA while the aircraft was still on ground. The JKIA health and security agencies are currently handling the issue.” Said Kenya Airways
