Over 23 families in Tangulbei, Baringo County were on Sunday left homeless when floods displaced them.
Women and children who were most affected by the tragedy were left with no food and shelter as the Kenya Red Cross stepped in to assist.
Both food and non-food items were distributed by the Kenya Red Cross thanks to USAID Kenya helping them through the tough time.

“23 families that had been displaced by floodwaters in Tangulbei, Baringo were yesterday supported with food and non-food items thanks to USAID Kenya.” Said Kenya Red Cross Kenya.
Water and sanitation stands as the biggest challenge at the moment with fears of water bourne diseases stand their way.
Kenya Red Cross was speaking in a day when a fire razed down Modern Electrical shop in Kisumu.
The morning inferno burnt down several shop near the hardware with the cause remaining unknown.
Goods worth millions were destroyed as residents joined in to salvage anything possible and pouring water to calm it down.
