Both Manchester United and Bayern Leverkusen have agreed the sell of Timothy Fosu-Mensah for undisclosed fee.
The clubs reached an agreement on personal terms with the players earlier today with the Germans positive of signing him in the January transfer window.
“Bayer Leverkusen are in advanced talks to sign Timothy Fosu-Mensah from Man Utd, as per @samuelluckhurst. There are ‘positive feelings’ to complete the deal soon, personal terms have been agreed – there are still some details to be sorted between the two clubs.” Said Fabrizio Romano.

Ajaz were also in the race to sign the player but Bayern Leverkusen had the upper hand in having him having closed the trade earlier on Monday.
“The agreement has been reached between Manchester United and Bayer Leverkusen for Timothy Fosu-Mensah. Ajax were also interested but he’s joining Bayer.”Said Fabrizio.
The news comes at a time when the Red Devil plans to sign Max Aarons and Boubakary Soumare from Lille.
Lille has in return issued a release clause of 35 million pounds which Manchester United are yet to trigger and have their man.
“To be clear about Manchester United plans: Boubakary Soumaré and Max Aarons have been ‘scouted’, they’re appreciated but *no* talks have been opened to sign them in January.
Lille ask €35m to sell Soumaré and Man Utd never made inquiry/planned to sign him right now.” Said Romano
Speaking on the January transfer, Solskjaer admitted how tough it is to acquire new players during the period as many clubs are adamant to release them.
“January window is always difficult and not many teams would like to lose their players in January… so *unlikely* something will happen on the ‘in’ side. Probably 2/3 players can leave the club” Said Solskjaer
