Bayern Munich beats Leverkusen to inch closer to tittle win

Bayern Munich were the winners of the night again when they netted four goal past Bayern Leverkusen to inch closer to winning the tittle.

The Bundesliga leaders fell behind 10 minutes into the game when Alario sent the ball past their net but they ensured it was 3-1 at the end of the first half.

Bayern Leverkusen were on the sheet when Alario controlled a Julian Baumgartlinger through ball in what seemed like an offside spot to send the ball past Manuel Neur.

The victory was short lived as Comman equalized 17 minutes later as Goretzka doubled the lead in the 42nd minute thanks to a Thomas Muller’s assist.

Right at the end of the normal first half, former Arsenal man Serge Gnabry made it three when his long range ball went past Leverkusen goalkeeper Lukas Hradecky.

It was game over when Poland striker Robert Lewandoski scored the fourth of the match raising his goal tally to 44 goals in a single season.

He however picked a yellow early in the first half denying him an appearance in their next fixture against Borussia Monchengladbach.

Bayern Munich are now closer to winning the tittle if they win their next two fixtures and bag their eighth straight Bundesliga trophy.
