A last minute goal by Leon Goretzka ensured league leaders Bayern Munich secured the maximum three points against Borussia Monchengladbach.
The home team took the lead in the 26th minute when teenager Joshua Zirkzee took advantage of a clearance error by goalkeeper Yann Sommer.
Eleven minutes later, the visitors leveled things up when Patrick Herrmann’s cross was converted into an own goal by Benjamin Pavard who tried to clear it.

It was a tie between the two clubs until the 86th minute when Goretzka netted home the winning goal for Bayern Munich.
Even in the absence of Poland striker Robert Lewandoski and German Thomas Muller, the Bundesliga giants proved impossible to hold and deny them a win.
In the early minutes of the first half, Jonas Hoffman finished off a neat pass to beat Manuel Nuer only to be ruled offside by the video assistant.
