Wolfsburg pulled one back through Wout Weghorst as Jamal Musiala doubled his tally for the evening to give the champions a 3-1 half time lead. After the break, Maximilian Philipp doubled the lead for the host.
The win leaves Bayern Munich at the top of the table with 68 points, seven ahead of second placed RB Leipzig and on the road to a nineth Bundesliga tittle. Wolfsburg sit in third place with 54 points.
