The taskforce tasked with coming up with the report came into the picture following the historic handshake between President Uhuru and ODM leader Raila Odinga.

The findings of the report are meant to bring Kenyans together and end violence during the general election.

Contents of the report have however created a divided opinion amongst leaders who said it was a plan to create additional seats in the government.

Those allied to DP William Ruto termed it as a plot by former prime minister Raila Odinga to take up power by creating additional positions in the government.

ODM party confirmed the ceremony urging Kenyans to read its content once released at the Bomas of Kenya on Wednesday.

“The BBI report is out. It has officially been handed over to Pres. Kenyatta at State House in the presence of our Party Leader H.E. @RailaOdinga. It will be launched to the public tomorrow at Bomas of Kenya to pave the way for constructive national discourse. “
