The Building Bridges Initiative task force led by Garissa Senator Yusuf has confirmed when they will be issuing their report.

Speaking on Friday, Hajji confirmed they have booked a date with President Uhuru Kenyatta and Hon. Raila Odinga for Tuesday next week.

The initiative which was formed following a joint discussion between the President and the ODM leader is expected to end the constant fights during election periods.

It was through the famous Handshake that the country’s political tension calmed down as leaders speculated what transpired during the closed door meeting held by the two leaders.

Two political groups emerged dubbed team Kieleweke and Tanga Taga allied to the President and DP Ruto that is said to have caused a great rift inside the Jubilee camp.

Last week, the President visited Mt. Kenya and met the leaders as he promised citizens that they will have an equal chance to read the report once it is issued to them.

He continued by arguing people to support the handshake as it is for the good of the country in many years to come.

At the moment developments are being undertaken in areas led by the opposition thanks to the handshake.
