“I won’t sugarcoat it but there are some really irresponsible elected and religious leaders.

How do you willfully ignore guidelines that are for your own safety and by extension your family, your flock, and your community? How proud can you be to endanger others unapologetically?”

The news follows an update that the Deputy Governor Mr. Saburi flew into the country from Germany and decline to self-quarantine himself as advised.

He is reported to have mingled with his staff before he was forced to undertake a medical exam which he did.

Results pointed out he was positive for coronavirus and has placed many people in danger of infection.

The government has said it will take legal action against him following the news.

His superior Governor Kingi who has gone into self-quarantine seconded the government to take action as stipulated by the law.

One angry Kilifi County staff who interacted with the Deputy Governor shared how angry he was about the news.

He even warned of impeachment if legal action was not taken.
