Orange Democratic Movement, ODM candidate for the scheduled Kibra by-election will be Bernard Okoth.
Bernard Otieno Okoth is the brother to the former Kibra MP Ken Okoth whose death rendered the seat vacant.
The by-election scheduled for November has seen other parties flood their candidates including former Inter Milan star McDonald Mariga.
During the nomination exercise, several complains were raised including missing voter’s names in the IEBC registry.

Despite all that the Independent Electoral and Boundary Commission declared the election process and a smooth one.
Several residents of Kibra were angered by the proceedings threatening to vote against former Prime Minister Raila Odinga.
Being an ODM stronghold, all eyes are on November 7th to see if the other candidates have what it takes to take it away from Hon. Raila Odinga.

Jubilee Party are considered a threat having beaten ODM on several times in their strongholds including Lang’ata.
In regard to the conduct of the nomination completed on Saturday, the Orange party has vowed to look into the issues through their dispute team.
Residents of Kibra have been called upon to vote for a leader who will continue where the late Ken Okoth left.
That being said Bernard Okoth will be at the ballot box once no objection will be raised by his party members.
