Bidco Group has entered into a joint venture with Danish firm Co-Ro food to open a new production line in Ruiru.
Both companies saw the opening of a Ksh 267 million plant that will produce Sunquick brand targeting both local and international markets.
Co-Ro a non-carbonated soft drink manufacturer with over 80 markets in the world seeks to tap the Kenyan and Africa market at large.

Speaking at the event was Trade CS Betty Maina who hailed the new venture terming it as a game changer in the economy.
She assured both firms of support from the government noting that they will surely provide employment and attract many other investors in the country.
Vimal Shah, Bidco Africa Chairman noted how as a company they are moving forward to tap new markets that were previously run by a few players.
He continued that it marks a new game changer in the industry and demonstrates the confidence his company has.
Economically, the new partnership will elevate Kenyans who had been greatly affected by the coronavirus pandemic that has rendered many jobless.
