Billionaire couple Bill Gates and wife Melinda Gates have confirmed ending their 27-year marriage on social media.
In a short post, they confirmed that they no longer believe that they can grow together after a long deal of thought and work in the relationship.
“After a great deal of thought and a lot of work on our relationship, we have made the decision to end our marriage. Over the last 27 years, we have raised three incredible children and built a foundation that works all over the world to enable all people to lead healthy, productive lives.

We continue to share a belief in that mission and will continue our work together at the foundation, but we no longer believe we can grow together as a couple in the next phase of our lives. We ask for space and privacy for our family as we begin to navigate this new life.” Said the power couple.
Bill and Melinda Gates met in the 1980’s when the wife joined the Microsoft team and together they have three children in addition to starting up a foundation under their own names.
Bill Gates and his fellow investor Warren Buffet have pledged billions to help the needy through various projects in the world.
Through their foundations, the duo aim at making a world a better place as they champion for health among poor countries and the less privileged in the society.
