Musician turned politician Bobi Wine congratulates president-elect William Ruto following the Supreme Court verdict upholding his August 9th election.
Taking on social media, Bobi Wine also congratulated Kenyans for demonstrating democracy following many years of lessons.
“I congratulate the President-Elect of the Republic of Kenya, H.E. Williams Ruto. Throughout the campaigns, the election, and the Election Petition, Kenya has proven that its democracy has come of age. The Region has many lessons to learn. I congratulate the great people of Kenya.” Said Bobi Wine

He continued by thanking former prime Minister Raila Odinga for advancing democracy not only in Kenya but the entire region.

The Ugandan politician joins Zambia President Hakainde Hichilema in congratulating now former Deputy President William Ruto for winning the August 9th elections.
