A team of divers from the government has successfully retrieved the bodies of twins who drowned in the Indian Ocean.
The twins from Kwale are reported to have drowned on Monday while playing at the father’s farm in the evening.
According to their father, the two attained a C+ in the just released Kenya Certificate of Secondary Examination and were looking forward to join a university soon.

Efforts to have them retrieved on the same day were hampered by time constraints as it was already dark making it difficult to spot them in the ocean.
Speaking to the press was Samuel Gatindi the father to Solomon and Kennedy Gatindu who confirmed that they left the farm and headed to swim alone.
Parents have been urged to accompany their children when swimming as fishermen who are experienced also drown and are experts in the ocean.
